Paul Kunin, CPA received a BA from Clark University, an MBA from Northeastern University, and a Masters of Theological Studies (with a specialization in Counseling) from Boston University. After his initial public accounting career, Mr. Kunin spent 12 years as CFO of PA Company, a women’s clothing manufacturer and retailer located in Needham, MA. In 2002, Mr. Kunin returned to public accounting with the firm Abrams Little-Gill Loberfeld where he provided internal and external professional development and consulting services. During these years, Mr. Kunin was active in many professional endeavors that combined his finance and counseling skills: he led CPE workshops on professional development; he has served twice on the Board of Directors of the Mass Society of CPAs; and he has written extensively on the “human aspects” of the accounting profession. Mr. Kunin’s articles have appeared in The Boston Business Journal, Sum News (Mass Society of CPAs bi-monthly magazine), The Oregon Certified Public Accountant, and Strategic Finance (the monthly magazine of the Institute of Management Accountants).
